LJoy Promotions Debuts RATED at Trocaderos
by George Holdgrafer

Well-known local events promoter Lindsay Underdahl, with her newly organized LJoy Promotions, is hosting two new nights for the GLBT community. The first, called Rated, debuts September 22, 10 PM, at Trocaderos Nightclub, 107 Third Avenue North, Minneapolis.

Underdahl says, “Rated is a new event with a circuit-party feel for Twin Cities men. For September and October, it’s being held the fourth Friday of the month, and thereafter, the third Friday each month. Rated promises to bring in the hottest DJs from around the world. Look for fun themes, amazing performers, and creative surprises."

“Trocaderos is a large two-level nightclub and restaurant with a three-level private VIP room. It’s an upscale venue with a New York feel to it.”

Not to ignore women, Underdahl soon will unveil Circle at the Varsity Theater, 1308 Fourth Street SE, Minneapolis.

In Underdahl’s words, “Circle is a brand-new concept and event for the women in our community, with live local and national acts, followed by national DJs spinning hip-hop until close."

“The Varsity Theater has gone through some amazing changes, and I think everyone will fall in love with the space like I did. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, yet full of energy.”

Regarding LJoy Promotions, Underdahl remarks, “With LJoy Promotions, I’m now creating events to satisfy what this community wants. By making them monthly, we’ll be able to keep them special—something to look forward to without getting tired of them."

“The mission of LJoy Promotions is to create an experience for people to have a very memorable night—the time of their lives, something they’ll talk about until the next one comes around.”
